AHE 'PENTA-LOCK' Air Handling Units. Available finished externally with either painted chassis framework enclosed with plastic coated panels or in natural 'Aluzink' (superior galvanised steel) finish. Aluzink is a swedish steel product with a superior corrosion resistance used extensively in Automotive and Industrial applications, having at least six times the corrosion resistance of normal zinc galvanised steel. Aluzink has a life expectancy of at least 20 years in most environments and can be easily painted requiring simple pre-treatment, unlike normal zinc galvanised steel.

AHE 'PENTA-LOCK' Chassis frames. Are fabricated from rigid press formed 16-gauge pentapost angles fully welded for high pressure use or internally welded with externally sealed corners for standard applications.

Doubleskin Panels. Formed from 20 gauge plastisol (plastic coated Aluzink) mild steel outer skin with double folded edges and sealed corners. Standard panels are lined with 25mm thick rigid mineral fibre insulation and faced with a natural finish 20 gauge Aluzink steel inner skin. Plastisol finish inner skin and internally painted chassis framework can be supplied for added corrosion resistance for hostile environmental use.

Access Panels. Hinged lift off type for general maintenance with key operated quick release fasteners and lifting handles.

Internal mounted units. Finished as standard in merlin grey plastisol steel / hammercast enamel painted frames.

External mounted units. Finished as standard in merlin grey plastisol steel / chlorinated rubber based painted frames.
Pitched roofs. Manufactured from plastisol (plastic coated Aluzink) mild steel.
Unit Base Frames. Manufactured from either 14 gauge Aluzink or heavy gauge Rolled Steel channel depending on unit size and location with matching paint finish.
